Actually, we get that question quite a bit. We could try to talk about the historical relevance of “Dudes” within the steel industry, or how the word transcends generations and remains timeless and relevant - which is what we hope our business does. We could even stretch it and talk about how we are not really “Dudes”, but renaissance men in touch with our softer side and entering home decor. Honestly, though, it is really not that complicated - and we’re not ALL dudes! You see, we are just a few friends that share interests and want to do something fun together. In the process, we hope to bring some warmth, fun and design into your personal space.

First is Jim. Jim is an engineer by trade. He’s a problem solver. He loves to just fix things, put things together and analyze. He is the quality, precision and smarts of the group. He’ll be the one to tell you about the plasma cutter, intensity of the heat, the overall production process, and accuracy that goes into the cutting, etc. All of the things that provide the quality cut and finish of the product we produce. He is constantly thinking about a tweak or an adjustment that can make thinks 1/1000 better. It’s like a kid in a candy store.

Next is Casey. She may be small in stature, but, Casey does ALL the heavy lifting - not literally, but figuratively. We like to call her the “softer side of steel”. Casey just “gets it”. She is one of those people that walks into a room, a building, a store and just envisions it finished, decorated or remodeled. Think of her as the master curator of the company and the one that definitely brings the softer, hipper, contemporary side of steel. Heck, anything that keeps us innovating and in touch with design ALL comes from Casey. It is really something to see.

Me, well, my name is Scott. Candidly, I’ve got none of that. I am a marketer by trade. I am a 100% right brain type of person. My mind goes 100 mph and is ALL over the place. I think of big ideas and then tend to be on to the next thing. I am a relationship guy and love to focus on people. I spent most of my career working with Saturn, the car company, and love building a business culture that focuses on the customer and being, well - “different” in the marketplace.
